Stick a fork in McCain. He’s done.

The second debate has come and gone, and polls again show Obama the winner.

A new Gallup polls has Obama up by 9 points. And before you go dismissing that poll you should check out the poll of polls averages that show Obama ahead as well.

As I predicted yesterday before the second debate, so again I predict today that unless something massive happens between now and the election Obama wins.

McCain faces a perfect storm of bad news for his bid for the office. The Republican brand is in the shithouse thanks to Bush. McCain’s choice of VP has turned into a bad joke. And the economy is imploding all around us. Add to all this questions about McCain’s age and health and what you have is almost no chance he will be elected.

So long Republicans. Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.

  1. I completely agree with you. I think that Palin is the worst choice (other than Bush or Cheny) for VP. Unless something drastic happens, we will have our 1st black president.

  2. Wow you really stuck your neck out there with that prediction. The fact is that Obamacare will completely destroy this country’s financial system.

Everyone says that the economy is in shambels but what people don’t remember is two short years ago the war was the biggest issue because the DOW was at 14K points.

Dems need to realize how horrible their candidate is.

  3. Hey Jack,

    Thanks for your comment.

Never said I was some kind of great oracle… In fact, I’ve never really counted out McCain until recently just because the polls have been so close. It wouldn’t shock me all that much if McCain manages somehow to pull out a win.

Obama is the Muslim extremist Anti-Christ. I know. I got the spam email already.

Sorry, but he really isn’t all that bad. Not from what I’ve seen, and not when compared to the alternative. McCain’s judgement has be suspect ever since he picked Sarah Palin. She’s a disaster. If you love her that’s fine, but she does nothing for McCain but shore up his base of far right conservatives and as I said in another post, they probably would have voted for him anyway without her.
