Sarah Palin Uber Alles!
“Wir glauben, dass das Beste von Amerika in diesen Kleinstädten, die wir erhalten, zu besichtigen, und in diesen wundervollen kleinen Taschen von, was ich das reale Amerika nenne, hier sein mit den ganzen Sie fleißig ist, sehr patriotisch, sehr Pro-Amerika Bereiche dieser großen Nation.”
Sarah Palin’s attempts to link Barack Obama to terrorism were supposed to dovetail with the unofficial internet email campaign to label him as a muslim. The mathematical equation was meant to go like this:
William Ayers = terrorist
Obama = muslim
Obama + Ayers = friends
Obama = muslim terrorist
The subtext was there all along. Much like the Nazis set fire to their own Reichstag and blamed it on terrorist Jews to consolidate their power, the Republicans could think of no other way to win the Presidential race than to paint Obama as an enemy of the people. Then it was the evil Jews. Now it is the evil foreigners (they are saying Obama isn’t a US citizen too) and Muslim terrorists.
And much like the Nazis, Palin whips her crowds into a hateful frenzy.
… Yeah, that’s an Al Jazerra news report. What about it? Did you expect FOX News to go out and get the story?
Palin knows that the people need an enemy and so she provides them with one: Liberals, Muslims, and foreigners. They hate America. There are real Americans, and then there is everybody else who disagrees with the narrow God, Military, and Country vision as set out by the GOP.
“We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard-working, very patriotic, very pro-America areas of this great nation,” Palin told a North Carolina crowd.
“Kill him!” “Traitor!”
“Sieg Heil!” “Hail Victory!”
Palin has tapped into the pulse of the new American Nazi Party.
